Coffee kisses

It is that time of the year again...Christmas is coming!! And festive baking is now totally obligatory! So I just wanted to share my favorite christmas biscuit receipt with you.


Coffee kisses

Ingredients: (for around 40 pieces)

For the egg white mass:
2 egg whites (size m)
1-2 tablespoons instant coffee powder
100 grams icing sugar (sieved)
8 grams vanilla sugar

For the topping:
100 grams dark chocolate
1 teaspoon cooking oil


Preparation:

Egg white mass:
Whisk the egg white till stiff with a hand mixer. Mix the coffee powder, icing sugar and vanilla sugar and gradually embezzle this mass into the egg white mass on the highest level of the hand mixer. Finally place little heaps with the help of two teaspoons on a baking tray covered with baking paper. Push the baking tray in the lower third of the preheated oven.

Oven:
Two-sided heat: 130 degree Celsius
Fan heat: 110 degree Celsius
Baking time: around 30 minutes

Afterwards pull the biscuits with the baking paper on a cake rust and let them cool off. Roughly crush the chocolate and let it melt together with the oil over hot water on low heat. Dip the bottom of the biscuits into the melted chocolate. If you want to, you can also decorate the biscuits on their top with the chocolate.

This receipt has been a favorite of mine for several years now. The biscuits are so easy to make, yet they just taste amazing. However, this is not a traditional Christmas receipt, so I think you could totally bake them all year round. Also, I always make the double amount of them, just take twice the ingredients for it.
